Cyberpunk 2077 Garry The Prophet Quest And Character Guide

Garry the Prophet is one of the most eccentric characters encountered while exploring the bustling streets of Night City in Cyberpunk 2077. Located right outside Misty's Esoterica in the Watson district, this street preacher captivates passersby with wild conspiracy theories. Behind his seemingly absurd rants lies a fascinating side quest titled The Prophet's Song.

Who Is Garry the Prophet in Cyberpunk 2077

Garry the Prophet is a street preacher voiced by popular content creator CohhCarnage. He spends his days warning citizens about technomancers, reptilians from Alpha Centauri, and corporate shadow plots. While most residents dismiss him as unhinged, his radio-tuned cyberware actually intercepts encrypted corporate transmissions.

How to Unlock and Start The Prophet's Song

Unlocking Garry's quest requires listening to his rants across multiple visits during your playthrough. You must interact with him, respond to his theories, and consider leaving a small donation to keep the conversation going. As you progress through main story missions like Playing for Time, new dialogue options unlock sequentially. Returning to his spot five times triggers a dramatic encounter with hostile Aldecaldos members.

Completing The Prophet's Song Quest

When the Aldecaldos confront Garry, you must intervene to save his life either through diplomacy or combat. Once rescued, Garry directs V to a secret meeting location where mysterious corporate operatives trade encrypted data. Infiltrating the meeting allows you to retrieve a secretive chip that reveals a deeper narrative web.

Resolving the Mystery and Quest Rewards

Returning to Garry's location reveals that mysterious agents in suits have abducted the preacher. Speaking with his follower allows V to hand over the decrypted chip and draw final conclusions alongside Johnny Silverhand. Although the quest offers minimal material gain, it delivers some of the best lore and mystery in Night City.
